Play Tabletop Roleplaying Games at Iglootree

Book it here

Unless otherwise stated, our game sessions are run by our own staff and are intended for people curious about a certain RPG system, be they new, classic, old-school and so on. No experience with roleplaying games is needed and all materials are provided.

We operate on an "anything but 5th edition D&D" principle, with a view to helping people learn new games and start their own independent home games.

By default our TTRPG sessions are all ages, though we strongly recommend 12 and up due to perilous themes and the possibility of character death*. Under 18's must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, who may attend at no cost or, better yet, book a seat at the table and join in!

*A player whose character dies during the adventurer will be handed a new one as soon as possible during the evening's play.

How much does it cost?

We charge £5 per head for one-off and introductory games. More elaborate or long-term games are as-priced. All game sessions need to be booked ahead of time from the website or in person at our shop, no spots will be available on the door.

Available game sessions and their tickets can be viewed on our events page.

What do I need to do before I come?

Other than making sure you've booked a ticket (since we have very limited space) and ensuring you arrive on the right day, you'd don't need to do anything! We provide dice, pencils, paper, etc. Just bring yourself.

What happens on the day?

Turn up at or before the start time, make yourself known to the nearest staff member, maybe say hi to the other people attending, and we'll herd you downstairs to the basement when it's time to play games.

The start and end times of the games are always posted on the individual events, and we try to stick to them but sometimes the end times may vary. A game might be completed particularly fast, or we might go ten minutes longer to finish something fun! However we understand if you need to leave on time, or even early.

Food and drinks

You are welcome to bring any food or drink you might like, and sharing is encouraged. Cups and tap water are available to all attendees.
