In-store RPG Session [10th February] Old-School D&D

Experience the thrill and danger of OLD-SCHOOL ADVENTURE. This will be a one-off session using the Swords & Wizardy Complete retroclone ruleset, which emulates the Original Dungeons & Dragons with supplementary options. Now you too can play D&D in the old-school way - pitch-black labyrinths full of treasure, evil skulking monsters, and a game world where death and magic lurks around every corner. Easy to learn rules and an introduction to a lifetime of adventure. This event is all ages, though we strongly recommend 12 and up due to perilous themes and the possibility of character death*.

 Under 18's must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.

*A player whose character dies during the adventurer will be handed a new one as soon as possible during the evening's play. These sessions are intended for people curious about a certain RPG system, be they new, classic, old-school and so on. No experience with roleplaying games is needed and all materials are provided. We operate on an "anything but 5th edition D&D" principle, with a view to helping people new learn games and start their own home campaigns. No previous experience with the rules is required, and all gaming materials will be provided (pencils, paper and dice) but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.
